Sweet and Salty....Light and Fluffy

Okay I just need to express my love for Yoplait Whips...I absolutely hate yogurt but I absolutely love yogurt whips! They are so fluffy and light and delicious!! I can't stand it! They are definetly one of my favorite things at his moment! Cant get enough of them! My favorite kind is the strawberry mist..I also really like the raspberry one. The chocolate one was so so and same witht the vanilla. I liked the fruit ones better for sure.
yummm

Okay and my other new favorite food item at the moment are the Nature Valley Sweet and Salty granola bars. They are soo good! A couple weeks ago Melinda gave me one at lunch and i fell in love. Everyday last week she brought me one for lunch. Let me tell you, I really looked forward to them during the middle of 4th period (oceanography) when my stomach would grumble. Anyways, I fianlly bought some and have been eating them non stop!

Now that I have finished ranting on about food....lol Tomorrow is friday! Yes! Plus that means that I will finally be turning in my CBA (classroom based assessment) for history tomorrow! FINALLY. That was a pretty dang ridiculous assingment. I will never ever write an essay on school prayer again! Geez that was annoying. Anywho, this weekend should be fun. Priest/Laurel retreat to the family fun center. We are staying in the hotel next to the family fun center friday night and im pretty excited :)

Have a happy weekend!!

Welcome Home Elder Dale!

Ronny boy came home a couple weeks of ago. It was pretty exciting. Kaylani and I made him a huge sign that said "welcome home elder dale" a couple of weeks before he came home. Of course i took it to the airport. Grandma Dale was here also so that was cool she got to see him.

After what seemed like forever, he finally came up the escalator. It was really weird seeing him.

Thanks to Grandma for being there so she could videotape it :)

Even thoughhe teases me to death, plays his spanish music extremely loud, and reads scriptures in spanish Im happy he is home :)

I have started a blog!

I decided to start a blog after i read the book Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. I really enjoyed the story and i didnt wanna forget how i felt when i read it so i thought well then if i start a blog i can write all about the books i read. Oh, and other things of course!

I went to the movies around a month ago with Kaylani and one of the trailers that played was for a movie called Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. The trailer looked fabulous and since reading is one of my favorite things to do i decided i was gonna read this book before the movie came out. After finishing The Secret Journal Of Brett Colton which i highly recommend i grabbed my moms kindle and started reading. A few days later i finished the book. I don't know what it was but i just really felt like i connected with the characters in this story. There were many parts during the story where i felt like crying even though i never did. There were beautiful parts, happy parts, exciting parts, sad parts, and every time i turned the page i could feel the emotion coming off the pages. I do tend to get very emotionally attached to any book i read. For instance i read a part of the story that was kind of on the sad side and then i went to go pick up Kaylani to go somewhere and i was in a depressed mood and all i could think about was the book. (that only lasted a few minutes) Overall, i just really enjoyed this book. Today i went back and watched the trailer again and was on the verge of tears. It looked even more better than it did the first time. I can tell this is gonna be one of my favorite movies. PLUS, Channing Tatum is playing John Tyree. Holy freak...he is one extremely attractive man. Perfect guy to play John. I also love Amanda Seyfried who starred in Mama Mia. They did a good job picking the cast for this movie :)

See what im saying!?! Woo...
